If all you had to do, was think different thoughts, you would have solved your problems long ago.
The reason that many forms of talk therapy and coaching have limited effect is that they only work at the level of the conscious part of our mind. Real change takes place at a deeper level: at the level of your nervous system and unconscious programming.
Trying to change the external circumstances of your life without changing the way you interact with all the parts within you, doesn't work.
Somatic inquiry and breathwork allow for a bottom-up approach. This deep process work works because it allows you to look beneath the surface and transform unconscious programming.

Your body contains enormous intelligence but speaks a different language. Namely the language of images, sensations, and symbols.
I teach you techniques to learn how to properly listen to your body. To become aware when you lose touch with yourself due to overanalysis, judgment and fear and to stay present with all these parts within you.
As a result, you will learn to understand the language of your body.

Through these techniques and practices you will learn to be with your inner experiences with more calm, curiosity, compassion, and love. This deepens your ability to regulate your emotions (without controlling them) and increases your resilience to stress.
When we work with our core wounds, we are able to freshly sense what gifts they contain and what is the next step towards wholeness.
It is important that these shifts can lead to sustainable change. At the end of the process, we will take time to determine what will support you to continue to integrate these insights into your life.

About me
I’m Essa, a psychologist and breathwork and Focusing facilitator with a deep passion for supporting people in their journey to reconnect—with themselves, each other, and the wisdom of their bodies. My work is rooted in Focusing (by Eugene Gendlin), a practice that teaches people to listen inward and be present with what arises, so they can move through life with more clarity and connection. I believe that true healing happens in relationships, not in isolation. I love creating spaces where people can be seen, heard, and held.
Whether you are navigating personal challenges and/or past trauma or just seeking a more authentic way of being, I am here to walk alongside you. I work with those who long for real connection, deep inner work, and radical self-trust. My sessions are for people who are ready to step beyond traditional therapy models and into a co-created, embodied practice of healing and growth.
