What is a Focusing session?
Focusing is a gentle, body-based practice developed by philosopher and psychotherapist Eugene Gendlin. It works by turning your attention toward the felt sense — that subtle, physical knowing your body holds about your life, your relationships, your unlived possibilities.
When we slow down and listen there, something shifts. Not because we push or analyse or fix — but because something in you finally feels met.
This is what I call the felt shift. And it changes things.
What we do together
In our sessions we create a quiet, spacious environment where you can turn inward without pressure. I listen deeply — not just to your words, but to what is alive underneath them. Together we follow what your body is trying to tell you, gently and at your own pace.
Sessions are available in English and Dutch, online or in Amsterdam.
The program
I work with clients in a minimum of four sessions. This gives us time to go beyond the surface, build trust, and allow real movement to happen. Many clients continue beyond four sessions as they feel the shift deepen.
Sessions are 60 minutes. Available online and in person in Amsterdam.
